International Student Tax Seminar--January 28, 2008

All international students and interested dependents are invited to attend an International Student Tax Seminar on Monday, January 28^th, in room 3380 of the WSC from at 9:00 a.m. and again at 1:00 p.m. (both presentations will cover the same material so you only need to attend one of the sessions).

Marianne Thorum, an IRS agent that specializes in international student returns, will be presenting a information regarding the filing of your 2007 taxes. You must file even if you did not earn any money during the year.

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program will also be there to discuss the free tax preparation service they provide for international students.
